Pine Nut Mountain Bike Race Series

 

Location:  Three miles east of the intersection of U.S. Highway 395 and Pine Nut Road, Gardnerville.  The race venue is located on Pine Nut Road #2, one mile north east of Pine Nut Road near the County Fair Grounds.  The land mark is alone tree on the right side of the road, adjacent to a large dirt parking lot.

 

Course:  Rolling terrain consisting jeep roads, double and single track.  There will be a few short steep for hills for ascending and descending.  The length and terrain of the course will change from week to week. The minimum distance will be 8 miles and the maximum will be 15 miles.

 

Classes:  A’s, B’s, C’s men’s group and a ladies class.

             

Dates/Times:  Wednesday evenings, registration commences at 5:15 p.m. and race time kicks off at 6:15 p.m. - 5/2, 5/9, 5/16, 5/23, 5/30, 6/6, 6/13, and 6/20.

 

Fees:  AACC members will be charged $5.00 per race and non-club members will be charged $8.00 per race.  These are no-licensed and non-sanctioned events.  There will be medals awarded to the top three placing in each class.
