Description: It's almost time for the last ride in the Wild Hillacious Century (and Metric) Series. The Sonora Pass on September 4th. Riders get Wild Hillacious credit for the metric century or the century. It's hard to get lost on this ride, it's an out and back ride. The turn around for the metric century is Clark Fork Road, which is a couple of miles past the Dardenelles campground. The turn around for the century is Strawberry (not the Highway 50 Strawberry). Description: This is an open invite to all AACC members to send off Team WOW on their inaugural mt bike odyssey across Nevada. AACC member Todd Whear is the leader of the team of 5 riders trying to make it to Baker, NV in 10 days. If you are interested in riding the first days route with us; we ride down Genoa Ln to 395, north on 395 to Johnson Lane and head east. Once we hit the end of Johnson Lane it is all dirt! It's about a 20 mile & 2200' climb to get over the Pine Nuts. We will ride over Sunrise Pass and follow Julian Lane all the way to Weber Reservoir for our first night's camp. If you ride, you can turn around at anytime, but you must arrange a shuttle if you plan to ride the whole day. Call or check out www.wowadventure.com for more details.
